Easter Baskets and Outfits

Hey guys! We’re so happy it is Spring time- which means warmer weather and Easter celebrations. The kids are really excited to celebrate this year. I have hopes of making it to the mall to see the Easter bunny this week, but we’ll see if we get a chance. I wanted to share my ideas for the Easter baskets for the kids as well as giving you a sneak peak at our Easter outfits. I found some really fun basket stuffers that I think they are really going to enjoy. For the Easter bunny baskets, I went to Target to get the stuffing and found some great little treats in the dollar section. They had cute, sparkly kids silverware, stationary totes, and stamps. Ella Rose is obsessed with these LOL dolls (any other mom’s heard of these things?! They sell out like crazy) so we got a little LOL doll stamp set for her and a Tsum Tsum one for Owen.

I also got two books for Ella Rose and Owen as well. Owen’s favorite movie is “Coco,” so I got the “Coco” golden book for him (with COCO and BOOKS for him, you cannot go wrong because he’s obsessed with both) and the “There was an Old Woman who Swalled a Chick” book for Ella Rosie. In addition, I bought some sidewalk chalk for the kids as well. Outdoor toys are always a great filler especially for Spring time. Lastly, I bought some Hatchimals, because Ella Rose says they keep talking about them at school… so I thought it might be a hit. I’m excited to see their faces when they open their baskets to discover some yummy treats and fun toys they’ve been into.

For our Easter outfits, I am wearing this pink lace shirt that I have worn as both a maternity top and regular top. It is one of my favorites; so versatile and great for Spring. I also have these adorable flower pattern, platform sandals from ZARA (my favorite store) that I love wearing in warm weather. I bought them on our trip to Europe last summer, and they have some similar styles available here. There is also a cute pair in my shop my style feature. I really love the platform sandal style.

For the kids, I have had a lot of good luck shopping on Zulily, if I purchase the outfits a couple of months in advance, as well as shopping Janie and Jack’s sale racks. For Ella Rose she is wearing her Smocked Easter bunny dress and lace up ballet flats. I just love the Smocked look for holidays and special occasions. It always looks so proper and cute.

For Owen, he is wearing an adorable plaid/seersucker suit jacket, bowtie, button up, and pants, with his suede dress shoes. I purchased this set at Janie and Jack on sale for a wedding, and we’ve gotten multiple uses out of all these pieces. Plus, how cute is a little guy all dressed up? I Can’t wait to get my little bunnies all dressed up for Easter! Hope you enjoy these looks! Happy Easter Everyone!
